A Celebrity or not a celebrity, weight loss doesn’t happen overnight and you need to make a lot of efforts and add discipline to your lifestyle to see a difference in your body.

It is very important to be motivated if you are planning to loose that extra kilos off your body. It is obvious that putting on that extra weight was not overnight, it took 9 months to gain the extras kilo, so the process of losing weight will take the same time.


Be patient and do not judge your body too early. Others might judge you but they will anyways do that if you are Zero size or Plus size. So there judgement should not pull you down instead use it as a motivation and trust me people no one can stop you if ‘YOU’ want to achieve it.

Do not rush on any crazy diet plan as eating right is very important for you and your baby. Yes I said eating right !!

30 – 45 minutes of workout is a must to achieve that toned body while loosing weight. Cardio and weight training are equally important to burn those extra calories.

With every meal of the day have vegetables as it will add nutritional value at the same time help you get rid of the rigid fat. You can saute veggies in half a spoon of oil and have that for lunch and dinner with rice or roti/chapatti with Ghee.

Eat any 2 fruits between the meals, so that you are full and hydrated at the same time.

Have a glass of water before 20 minutes of a meal and 20 minutes after the meal as well.

Make sure you do not purposely cut on carbs to loose weight as it is equally important for your body. Carbohydrates are the body’s main source of energy. Healthy sources of carbohydrates, such as higher fibre starchy foods, vegetables, fruits and legumes, are also an important source of nutrients, such as calcium, iron and B vitamins.

Last but not the least, sleep is the most important thing to be taken care of. It is difficult to do that with a new born baby but try and manage to have a good sleep of 7-8 hours.

If you maintain a healthy and a disciplined life with good food and moderate exercise, weight loss can be easily achieved.
